Been a While…
It’s been a while since I have posted here. It just didn’t feel right to. Life was good, I was in love and I thought I was going in the right direction.
Life, God, Love, whatever your views, has a funny way of putting us all back in our place, especially when we least expect it.
I have found that love is not the answer, it does not correct all wrongs and it sure isn’t full of roses. I thought of a way to describe love; Love is the knife that cuts out your still beating heart.
Gruesome, I know, although love is not the fix all end all.
I have come to learn that love really doesn’t matter. In, what I thought would be the end, the one, the final life partner, I found that love didn’t matter at all.
Maybe I am just too old-fashioned in thinking love has anything to do with a relationship or that love should dictate or have a great influence on your life choices. I have come to learn that work, friends and security is more important than love.
Love is a joke, love is the excuse people have to get married, love is for the lost.
I guess I am as lost as them come.
