I have thought long and hard about moving forward and leaving the past behind.

I have learned a few things though:

I have learned I will not trust another soul.

I have learned not to care.

I have learned not to hope.

I have learned not to place my dreams in anyone.

I have learned happiness is a pipe dream I will never attain.

I have learned I will never know love, true love.

I have learned I am not the worthy of love or happiness so why waste my time.

I have learned no one else will get in.

I have learned I am afraid all the time.

I have learned it’s all because of you.
